Hi guys, it's been a couple of hours that i've been searching here and there and did'nt come up with anything, it's about installing the '06+ steering radio controls on a '04 touring with the OEM bose HU intact. Any help would be highly appreciated thanks

 

Im not familiar with the 04 bose HU, does it have steering wheel control inputs ?

if it does then you should be ok, the steering wheel controls have their own plug coming to the radio. I just wired my aftermarket HU and it honestly just uses like 3 cables and it has an illumination feed as well outside of that plug.

So you need to get only a few cables to the HU from the steering wheel.

Does the clockspring support the extra cables? My old car needed a new clockspring with the steering wheel buttons.
