the alpine pdx series i believe are nice , they will match your comps, they have a small footprint , and they have a 2 ch model that does 150 rms x 2 @ 4 ohm and or 2 ohm

When you "bridge" an amp what does that mean?

its says
# RMS Power Rating @ 4 ohms: 150 watts x 2 chan.
# RMS Power Rating @ 4 ohms bridged: 300 watts x 1 chan.

when its 1 channel can you still connect the set of speakers?

What do you think about this one?

the amps puts 150 watts on both channels at 4 ohms
so the 2 channels will provide 150 watts each

bridged means you are taking both channels and making one channel out of them

you will not be bridging the amp
you will be running a mid and tweet off 1 ch and a mid and tweet off the other

i would not like that pioneer amp

but if you like it than it will work

what are the voice coils on the w6 , dual 1.5 ohm?

i would stay away from sound storm

you trying to use a high end driver with a very low end amp

the amp has 2 each 30 amp fuses i would be surprised if it made 500 watts

what are the coils sub and how many subs 1 or 2 , and what is your budget on the amp

buy this

http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=295-414

with either single 10" zenclosure box, the one that sits behind or in front of the strut bar , they are both .75 cu ft net , and stuff with poly fill

and buy this

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu..._PDX-1600.aspx

$ 150 for the sub Dayton titanic
$ 319 for the amp alpine pdx d class mono
$ 99 for the box .75 net zen under strut
$ 15 poly fill

i have installed this combo in 3 , 350 z 's

sick output
loud
sound quality
very wide frequency range 30-80 hertz
good lows and mid bass

you will be very happy

also then your amps for mids and highs will match and both be alpine pdx very nice, clean , small foot print , tons of power,

and your mids and highs are alpine and your deck

Good advice from up there, but here are some other options I would personally consider:

You can probably save some dough with a budget 5 channel, try either the
JL 500/5 Slash
(you can get a good deal on eBay) and bi-amp your fronts (25w to the tweeters & 100w to the mids + 250w to the sub)

or

Hifonics Zeus ZXi60.4 + 1K
Bridge the front channels to give you 240 watts x 2 channels @ 4ohms bridged +
750w to a 2ohm subwoofer (Rockford Fosgate T1 10" 4ohm DVC wired down to 2ohms would be badass, and would no doubt blow a w6 out of the water getting 750w RMS in a sealed box)

Both of these amps are good quality for the price and you shouldn't have any trouble with either.

But, that's my opinion.
