...Will Pioneer 3200dvd fit "perfectly" in the 2007 Z dash?.. I did a search and was wondering if you need to get these EXTRA parts??:

Metra Electronics 70-7550 Wiring harness
Metra Installation Kit 99-7602 from Best Buy

Btw...i plan to get the head unit and necessary parts on my own and take it to an install place, instead of doing it myself ...(lack of experience & fear of totally screwing it up )

You've got the right parts there, dash kit and harness.

If you take the car to an install shop for them to do it, chances are they'll have the parts in stock, and they will want to install their own parts, not parts you bring in.

 

But is it cool if i take just the head unit in (and not the extra parts) to have them install it?...they won't charge me some misc. fee for not buying the unit at their shop, will they?

 

My shop is always fine with me bringing in the installation parts, but it all depends on the shop.

The only part you're missing is if you need an antenna adapter. And check with them, if they'll install a relay for you so that you have video while you're driving Relay runs about $5 at AutoZone, but some shops won't install it for you.
