Factory amp help needed!!!

I have an 04 350z my sub goes on and off can I just get a different amp and plug it in instead of the factory amp? will it give me any kind of problems if i do that?

Maybe but:

You have to do some hard wiring.
Must have a remote ON.
Must fit in the allowable space.
Have to figure out how to mount.
