Default wiring and rear speaker choice questions...any opinions??

i've replaced the front components and sound deadened the entire trunk area...now on to the HU (avh-p4200dvd) and then amp/sub...and maybe rear speakers...

several questions...

1. there are two ground wires on the 350z wire harness...an amplifier ground and a chassis ground...what do i do with the amplifier ground...same as chassis ground???...also what do i with the antenna power wire on the 350z wire harness...where do these two wires map to....

2. because i will be using an external amp...do i even need to bother connecting the front and rear speaker output wires from the 350z wire harness to the HU harness???

3. i dremmeled out the molex plugs and fed in 18 gauge wire into the doors which i will use to power the front speakers from the amp...i should have gone with 16 gauge (at least) but i was thinking only 70W RMS and smaller wire = less pain through molex plugs...but after more research and realizing smaller gauge may affect frequency response due to added resistance, i am regretting it...would it be worth it if I went 16 gauge from the amp to the door and 18 gauge from the door to the crossover???...would this help with less loss and sound degradation than 18 gauge all the way???... OR is it good enough and no need to worry about it...

4. i need to route the speaker wires from the doors to the area behind the head unit so i can start to feed the wires down the center console and then to the amp...is there a standard approach to get the wires from the doors to the area behind the HU OR "just get it done somehow"???

5. i was thinking because i will be removing the rear panels anyways...i will go ahead and replace the rear speakers just in case i want more mids (the amp has a built in bandpass filter for CH3 and CH4)...is there an el cheapo brand anyone would suggest???...something around 50 bucks as i may not even end up using them...more of a just in case...

sorry for all the questions...kept typing as they came to me...
