Default pioneer 3300BT + crutchfield rca harness = no audio?

i just got done installing the unit, and i used the crutchfield wiring harness with the low level rca plugins, but there's no audio coming out of the speakers... can't quite figure out what i did wrong.

the only thing that i can think is that the wires coming out of the pioneer harness that would normally go to the speakers, do i need to do anything with them? i taped them off because i thought that with the rca inputs, those wires would be bypassed.

it's an 05 with bose/nav. any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE: i fixed the problem, the lead that powers the amp wasn't secured properly. it had come loose when i was trying to put it back into the dash. once i redid the connection, everything works like a charm. pics to follow soon

Having the same problem here. Which wires were loose that you needed to fix and where did you plug your RCA wires to? Front and rear output? On the pioneer harness.
Thanks
