Does anyone know of a USB car charger that has a low enough profile that you can close the door on top of it? Specifically, while having it plugged into the 12v that's in between the two seats on the back wall.

I bought one so far and it was just a bit too long to have the door close flush on top of it when i didn't have a cable plugged in. It was a brand called "Just Wireless" from walmart (stupid name for a company that sells products that use wires...)

It looks like these ones i linked below might be small enough, but i thought i'd ask to see if anyone has one that they know will be short enough to have the door close

...this isn't my car, but this is the 12v plug i want to use and have the door conceal the charger when not in use.

 

...I can't be the only one with enough OCD that having the door only half way closed bothers them. :P

 

 

Hardwire the charger in somewhere out of sight. You can buy power outlets or you can solder wires directly to the charger.

 

The Griffen PowerJolt worked great. $12.88 at walmart. It's 1amp, has 2 USB ports, and the door closes on top of it easily.
