I'll just get to the point. I've had my Z for a year now and never got around to it. The car has the factory navigation and DVD player. The DVD player is jammed and the original 6 disc changer has been replaced. Now the question is does the DVD actually play media off te nav screen or is it to update the maps. Second how the hell do I get it to work?

 

DVD ROM ------> Navigation Only.
The the only thing you lost by replacing the OEM CD player is the navigation voice assist.
