Difficutly of Removing Dash / Rattles afterward?
I'm really looking forward to adding a Computer and sub system to my Z; however my dad doesn't think its a good idea. He doesn't want me to ruin the car in case I have to sell it. I don't plan on modifying any of the car parts, just removing the dash and center console to run wires.
From your experience, was there a significant "threat" of damaging anything when you removed the panels?
Did they go back to their origional position perfectly?
Were there any rattles afterwards?
Were any snaps or pieces broken/scrached?
I'm not impaired when it comes to doing work on the car... I did plenty on my old car; however, I don't want to have a rattly, loose fitting dash.
Thanks for the imput.

I've had the center console and the thing around the shifter removed 4 times while working on my head unit, etc. Each time it snaps back into place perfectly, and I don't have a single rattle or noise from a loose fit. My only recommendation is to do it when it's relatively warm out, cause cold platic doesn't give too much before it snaps. Happened on my last car.
I have had no problem with mine, but I only took it apart once. (ran all the wiring even though I didn't have all the parts yet). I have no dash rattles, but the panel that goes around the factory sub area rattles like mad (but only on my favorite songs--go figure). Note that I did my install work in 100 degree CA summer heat. The little snaps are much more forgiving when it's warm. I broke only one snap on the passenger door, but it doesn't rattle so I don't much care.
