XTant 404m, JL 500/5 or 300 + 500?
Head Unit most likely would be Kenwood HD.
1. Replace fronts with Focal 6.5's
* Leave Bose rears
* Replace sub with 2ohm 10"
Powered with Xtant 50x2 front /200x1 sub
2. Diamond Hex 6.5 fronts
* Focal 5.25 rears
* Diamond or Focal 10" SVC 4ohm
JL Audo 500/5 powers all
Rears will stay as rear fill only and will only get 25w each. I would rather have separates with the tweets on the woofers. SRQ sub box in OEM cubby space.
3. I do have a third option but I think its overkill for the roadster:
* JL 300/2 Diamond Hex 6.5's silk fronts
* JL 500/1 Diamond Hex Mac Daddy sub
Bose powered rear fill
I don't want any broken tabs or scratches and don't even want to drill holes. It's in pristine condition. Even worse is doing one setup then changing it for another.
I do not prefer loudness over quality. If you like bright/harsh highs like MB Quart or think the rears should be equal or louder volume then we don't have the same taste.
I know there's been been a lot of coup systems but I haven't found many roadster setups. One of my questions is would the amps fit "under" the cubby behind the passenger seat instead of in it. The Xtant is the smallest and the polished cover would show nice inside the cubby.
