i just need clarification on stock speaker sizes.
Front 6.5
rear 6.5
If I'm wrong let me know, trying to buy uprgaded speakers

 

fronts are 6.5 component
rears are 6.5 coaxial

 

does this mean if we replace the rear speakers with 6.5 component speakers they will sound as good as the front ones do? The front speakers in my car sound good enough for me I just wish the rear speakers had the same amount of effort.

 

Change those stock pieces of ^%@# and you will be amazed.

My focal's in the rear sound 10X better than my Kicker componets up front.

 

Putting components in the rear would not be worth the effort.

 

imo you'd be better off with a really nice set of components up front and disconnecting the rear coaxils.

in stock setting you do not get much sound from the rears because they have a massive resistance load on them since they are only meant for fill.
