Default Get your custom Z Emblem backgrounds here...

Just installed a Kenwood DDX470 and immediately wanted to get rid of the built in blue background because it clashed with the Z's amber lighting. Found a few images of Z emblems online and did some editing with different colors and resized them to the 800x600 that Kenwood requires.

Here they are...just right click on any of them to save them to your desktop.

I have the same HU. I updated the software to 1.7 which made system load faster.

I also updated the splashscreen to the Nissan Emblem. For a HQ image. You can go here:

AFAIK there isn't a way to change the splash screen on the DDX470, as you can with other (older) Kenwood receivers. But, if anyone knows how, please post the method.

In any case, the boot-up on the DDX470 is so quick that changing the splash screen wouldn't make much difference. Of course, it's quite easy to change the background screen, and that's what would be more important to most.

My DDX470 boots extremely fast. 6 seconds IIRC.

Any more Z wall papers you guys find? I remember when I first changed my wall paper, I was surprised that I didnt find many decent ones.
