i have ordered 2 JLw7 subs and 2 JL100x1 amps. i have done alot ofinstalls beforebut i had a question. what type of wire is going from the stock unit to the stock amp, i wont be lucky enough to hear rca will i ??

 

Why are you spending like $2500 on subs and keeping the stock headunit?

Nope. You need line level converters to change the speaker outputs of the headunit to RCA level outputs. IF you have the blose headunit, it's more complicated. You need special converters for that cause bose uses some sort of balanced output. If you're that serious about putting quality sound in your car, buy a new headunit.
