Default 350z Come Factory w/ Remote Locking/Entry?

Hey guys,

I have had a look online but couldnt find anything but alot guides on how to solve problems around keyless/remote locking systems.

I just bought a 2007 350z VQ35HR and was just wondering if these come with a factory keyless/remote locking fob or if it was only an option at new. The car only came with a standard key and before i invest in a system I was wondering if there is a way to check if it already has a fob system installed cause then I will just get a replacement OEM fob from Nissan, compared to buying a whole new kit. Previous owners might have just lost the fob and disabled the immobilizer or something to just use the key only.

Thanks for any help lads!
Ryan

Thanks heaps MicVelo. So in saying that would it be safe to say previous owner just disabled the immobilizer or something, and all I need to do is order a replacement fob for the car and recode it?

I would THINK so.... but I can't say 100%. Would wait to hear what others have to say AND/OR call a dealer and ask.

It's possible the prev owner just lost the key FOB....

Save yourself a lot of $ by sourcing a remote on eBay or amazon and programming it yourself:

Thanks man I'll check it out, I'm hoping that the rest of the factory remote locking is still installed and then that's exactly what I'll do.
