Does anyone know if you can mount a single DIN Head unit on the BOTTOM compartment of the metra kit? Or any other install kit for the Z? I want to mount an indash tv on the bottom so i can have that tv open and my nav screen still visible, if i decide to go this route ( as opposed to nav-tv).

The Metra kit comes with a single din (with the pocket) and a double din/two single din bracket, so yes. If you don't put something in the top spot, you'll have to figure out some way to cover the hole that will be there.

 

Are there any other mounting kits besides metra? (just for different options)

Whats wrong with using the metra kit? Just stick the pocket on top and put the HU in the bottom.
