Default rear speakers convertible

don't want to mess the car up so i am looking for any advice on how to get the rear speakers out. totally different than the coupe, i just don't want to break anything.

anyone done one of these yet?

The plastic roll bar covers are listed in the service manual as "replace after removal". There are plastic tabs inside the covers that can break when you seperate the halves.

However, some people have removed them carefully and been able to re-install them ok. Your mileage may vary.

You just start with the roll bar covers and start removing plastic panels. I think it is pretty similar to the coupe after you pull those off.

Note: I haven't done this myself yet, I am only speaking based on reading the service manual and from talking to other people.
