Default A-pillar removal

Anyone know how to remove the a-pillar on the driver's side? I was kind of afraid to experiment with that since the curtain side airbags are right above the pillar. Thanks.

Just grab a hold of the top end and pull firmly. It snaps out and in w/o any attachments to the airbags.

be careful when removing the a pillar. if you pull straight out , you will break a piece off of it. i did this yesterday and broke a little tab off. this tab runs parallel to the door itself. pull gently at the front and bottom of the pillar. when those 2 have unsnapped, you need to pull towards the rear of the door. maybe this will help.
