Question Nav calculation

Has anyone noticed the nav screen giving erroneous info? For example: distance to destination is 45 miles and you are travelling 60 mgh and time to destination is over an hour. Normal calculation of 45 miles at 60 mph will give 45 minutes.

Maybe it is anticipating all the non 60 MPH zones, stop signs/lights, high traffic areas etc that are up ahead and not in your present. You don't travel everywhere a set speed door to door.

I don't believe that it takes your actual speed into account. There are settings for speeds to used for calculations, one for highway, one for "normal" roads (I think... I should remember this, as I just adjusted them this morning!), and a third one (can't remember what it's called). Mine were set at 60, 40, and 25, respectively. I noticed the same thing on a recent road trip, during which what I know I can drive in 12.5 hours initially displayed as almost 15 hours. I adjusted the numbers to 70, 50, and 30, which should align more closely with typical road speeds around here.

On another note, I did notice on this same road trip from above two occassions where the icon on the display did not line up with the road. I was on I-75/69 going north through Oklahoma. The first time was really strange, as it lasted for at least 10 minutes... I could see the line for the road on the display, and the icon a good half-inch away from it, pointing in the right direction, and moving along-side it. I noticed this at least one other time, but it did not last nearly as long, maybe 15 seconds or so, as I was on a ramp getting back onto a highway.
