Default Audiolink - need help NOW - I am at the shop!

The audiolink is an adjustable line output converter.

AudioLink (Navigate to the PD-4)

It is about the size of TWO decks of cards side by side.

I am at the shop (XX Tuning) right NOW and we aren't seeing an obvious psace for it.

Someone posted that they put it "on the flat spot behind the head unit". We are looking at that area and there does not seem to be enough room. So I am looking for ideas.

I think the original pictures were on my350.com but the search engine is down.

If anyone has installed this behind the head unit please post details (and if possible PM me).

AndyB (help meeeeeee.....)

PS: So far the install is going good. We got the interior taken apart and the Basslink is being mounted right now. And yes, I am taking pics that I will post.

The installer here is kicking but. He figured out a secure way to mount the amp (alpine 4x65) behind the glove box so I don't lose any storage space.

AndyB,
That was my install. I mounted the AudioLink PD4 behind the HU on the flat surface with velcro. Fit perfectly. Picture below.
However, I had to get back into the system, and later moved the PD4 to the space right in front of the shift lever. Plenty of room there also.

Default Thanks

Thanks. Mine is behind the HU now and in there tight.

My cablelink cable was a little short for the other spot, but it fits fine here.

I am very impressed with the AudioLink unit. The sound is really good. (Some LOCs sound really cheap)

Andy how long did the total install take? Did you have any other glitches besides the audiolink? Can't wait to hear it on the 25th down at Atco.

Default Time / Other mods

There was no time for any other mods. The install was started at nearly 8AM and I didn't get out of there until after 9PM! 13+ Hours.

So far XX Tuning has done my clear bra, borla true dual, and this stereo.

Today I am putting on some 18 inch G35 rims and Pilot Sport Tires.

After that I am not sure. Maybe sway bars.
