Default stereo headunit in the nav hole?

has anyone tried installing a double din headunit in the nav hole? I'm thinking mostly about the Kenwood or Eclispe double din LCD headunit. I haven't broken into the console behind the nav and don't know if there is even space back there.

Lemmeno.

There isn't enough space to do that. You got about 1/2 the depth compared to the radio location.
