Sub-Woofer Speaker Cover Panel
I do not have the bose system and want to install a 10" sub behind the drivers seat. I have seen the cover panels on ebay for sale:

I had seen the bracket for sale also, I am assuming thats how the speaker can connect to it. How can you take the regular panel off and also has anyone tried this method? I am sure someone has. I want to do this instead of having to get a custom box for the back.

you can get that cover at courtesynissan for the same price. To get the old one off you just have to pry it open from the top. It's just held in by clips, so just have to pull it off. You'll have to remove few panels to get the sub installed as well. Plus you will have to build a box for the sub, free air don't sound that good.
Word of warning: If you are putting a sub in the stock location, you could have a problem with the subs hitting the inside of the stock grilles when they hit hard. I had to have my stock Bose pannel modified with a spacer and covered with speaker cloth to fix this problem.
