So I have this laptop lying around here. Acer 736tlv. Its a pIII-650 w/ 512mb and an ATI Rage Mobility video card. I am going to get a Lilliput 7" Touchscreen to set up my carputer.

However, I have one question/concern.

My only resolution settings on my card right now are 800x600 and 1024x768.

How does the lilliput/xenarc widescreen display look while displaying either of these resolutions?

Does text look ok? Nav maps?

I'm sorry if this had been posted before, I did a search and I noticed that many were using laptops ... but no one said anythign about this ... so I assume it works ok, but I just wanted to ask someone to be sure.
