new alarm? will it void warranty?

Re: new alarm? will it void warranty?
Aftermarket alarms are designed to work parallel to the vehicles electrical system. With the exception of 'cut offs' there should be NO wires cut or modified during the installation. Cut offs include start kills, ignition kills, fuel pump kills, etc... All wires simply tap into existing wires and will alter the signal VERY little.
The only problem you might run it to is the fact that all the door/hood pins are monitored by the BCM, which is a computer. If your door pin input on your BCM goes bad and you have an aftermarket alarm installed there is always the possibility that Nissan will try to blame the alarm system.
