Default Whats the best way to hook up an Infinity Basslink?

I have an 04 Enthusiast and in the next couple months, once I decide on my HU and speakers, I plan on getting the Basslink. Did anyone try running power to the 12v in between the seats somehow? Seems like I remember hearing how someone ran power to that instead of directly to the battery.

...not enough juice from the 12V source. However you can use this as your ignition signal. The easiest way is just to run power from your battery. There is an opening through the firewall right behind it. Just pop off the kick pannels and guide the wire all the way to the back, where you have to remove the back pannels to tie in to your speakers. I used the bolt for the child seat to tie in to ground, and the 12V source for my iginition on/off switch. If you look at the How-Tos sticky, there are instructions for all of this, and the colors for the rear speaker wire leads. Hope this helps.
