Default Tsb for controlling bose bass?

I got my amp replaced, but now have little to no control of the volume of bass feature. I thought I read on here there was something about another amp replacement that will fix this as well?

Any ideas?

ROFL ! IT'S TRUE!!!! Believe me 2 cars ago I had a 2001 Mercedes C320 which really isnt a real Mercedes per say but it had a msrp of around 42k and the bose system it it was a 10 speaker system with 2 10'' subs (factory bose subs) and was simply amazing compared to the 350z. Its so bad that i have to rip it out!!!

sorry!

Default Bose TSB

To try and get this thread back on topic, I know there a another TSB 03-87 for the replacement of your amp if you have no bass control. I believe this was issued back in October.

So, to get this correct, the cars built before 9/27/02, there was the original amp which had overboosted bass/fluctuations in audio pilot.

Therefore, there was a TSB issued to replace the amp. The replacement amp apparently cleaned up the problems, but now you have little to no bass, with no bass control and lack of clarity of low end and mid-range sounds.

Now, there seems to be a 3rd amp replacement that will improve the clarity and give us a little more bass. I have done extensive search on this topic here but cannot find a link to the actual TSB.

I contacted Performance Nissan today and they said the only TSB they have is the one for overboosted bass. But, I am positive there is another one. If you are able to get to your amp, the Latest Amp should read 28060-CE400 (as opposed to 28060-CD400).

If anybody can find a link to this actual TSB (posted sometime around October 2003), that would be of great assistance to us all in getting our second amp replaced with a 3rd one!!!
