Question Stealth radar detector install on a 350Z roadster?

Does anyone have a stealth radar install on the 350z roadster? I saw a thread for a stealth radar install in a coupe where the valentine 1 is installed on the rear headliner area (where the hatch meets teh roof). Us roadster owners don't have a roof to attach to. Is there a way to mount it in the wind screen area? That way I can just use the cig ligher plug in the back and not worry about wiring.

I dont really want to do the hardwire install because I have just hesitent to touch the fuse box and stuff. I dont want to open ANYTHING up in my car. Seems like whenever I did that on my last car, I mess something up.

Any pics of installs on a roadster would help. Thanks.

Do the roadsters have a "powered" mirror? Do you see a wire loom going into the back of the mirror?

I know you can wire an 8500 just by using an ordinary phone cord and tapping the power and ground from the wire loom.. Probably possible with the V1 too?
