Just Installed: Infinity Basslink T
The Basslink T just arrived about half hour ago and i just finished setting it up in my trunk, although it is definately a make shift install. I had power, ground, remote, and rca converters already in my glove box from my old amp, so i just stretched them out (barely made it) to the new unit. I plan on buying a new amp wiring kit for some bigger gauge wire that will reach far enough at the same time soon, just not right now. Also i want to try laying it flat in the back because i think it might sound better from there facing the back window. It does look nice in this spot though and it sounds pretty good, but definately not the same sound as a "real" subwoofer, like JL etc. Here's the pics:

AParshall04,
I like the unit, it matches the look of the Z.
I have one concern, security. Can you tell that it is a self contained unit from outside the car? What is the mounting hardware like?
I would be concerned that some thug would see that in your hatch and think about doing a 2 second smash and grab.
I know that if a theif wants something given enough time they will get it, so a good way to secure equipment is to hide it or make it take forever to get the item out of the car.
Please consider this when installing the unit in it's perminent location. I would hate to hear that something happend to your Z because of this.

Acidburn-it sounds pretty decent, but im having second thoughts because i like BIG BASS, this thing doesnt hit real hard but sounds really clean instead.
NismoGcoupe-i think its 48x14x7
jbwii- im basically 99% sure im going to move the unit flat in the larger trunk area for 2 reasons - (1)I think it might sound better (2)it wont be as visible from outside and i can screw it down for security.
It is a nice unit though.
