can someone tell me what the newest Valentine One version is? i think its 1.8, but not sure.

its the 1.8 and you wont even find a good condition used one for less than $300. Your best off saving your money and buying one directly from valentine for $400.

Most V1 sales on Ebay will also list the serial number of the unit. You can then go to the V1 website and type in the serial number to see what version it is. The site will also tell you how much it will be to upgrade. You can take the cost of the Ebay unit and add to it the upgrade cost, then compare that to the new price of $400.

However, the last few revs really aren't that different, and you won't find much benefit upgrading from a recent revision to the newest. The V1 site will explain it better.

$200--going to be almost impossible to get a 1.8. Also remember that the warranty is non-transferable, another factor to consider when looking at prices.
