Whats speakers sound the best for a moderate price. I will be hooking them up to an In dash Dvd player. NO amps... for now!

 

everybody's interpretation of "best" and "moderate price" is going to be different. post a number and i'll list a few. the higher end componenets, $500+ range are Focal and Boston Acoustic Z6 or Z5. There's also DLS(i think that's their name.) and a few others. Focal and BA are the more popular lines. for cheaper, people here tend to run Infinity Kappa. I'm not a fan of those. you can do a search and find lots of recommendations.

i see boston acoustics pro and infinity kappa perfect on ebay for around that price. i'm a boston acoustics guy. my brother likes infinity kappa. if you have a chance to listen to a set, that would be your best bet.
