I like the AVIC-N1 but I don't like the fact that you have to remove the audio disc to use the NAV. I know I could add another headunit, but what a hassle and seems more pricey.

I know there's the new Eclipse AVN2454, but I don't think the face is detachable.

Are there better options out there such as getting a NAV unit and a seperate CD/DVD/MP3 player?

Any other options out there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

any kenwood or alpine is a seperate headunit and a seperate nav unit. But they will probably cost a lot more than the N1 unit

 

What would you do? And what brand would you get?

 

ive always liked the kenwood units cause they are touch screen, touch screen nav etc.
