Boston Pros
Has any one tried out the new Boston Pros? I think they now call them Pro60 and the Pro50. I have the old Pro 6.5 (about 7 years old now) and couldn't have been happier with them. How do they stack up to the Z6 and Z5??

i've heard the Pro60s and i'm running the Z6 now. it's no comparison. the z6 is way better and you pay for it. the pros are still a good set, just nowhere near the z5/6.

The new Pro60s are very nice. If you we're a fan of the old 6.5s, you'll love the increased off-axis response of the Pro60s with more mids. IMO it's still worth the extra $400 to upgrade to the Z6s. The Z6s are just incredible in every way.

Wow are the Z6's that good? What amp are you using to drive the Z6? I currently have a JL 300/4 driving my 6.5 pros, but was thinking about changing to a JL 450/4 to drive the new pros or possibly the Z6's.
Also what are you runing for the rears? I believe the pro's or Z6's maybe over kill for the back. I was thinking maybe running the SL65's.

I have the Z6 up front and the SL65 in the rear. Powering them are 2 Xtant 1.1i. A lot of money but well worth it IMO.
The Xtant 1.1 go for about $300 per........fyi
