Wiring Harness Questions...
Do I even need one if I am planning to run RCA's and setting up new AMPs, and everything?
I don't understand what the harness is for other than to just switch out the HU if you wanted to.
PLEASE HELP!

buletman.
Just get it. It save you time. You don't need to splice wires in a tight place.
Without it, you need to splice into power, antenna power, illumination, constant power, etc. For 12 bucks, its worth it.

Re: Wiring Harness Questions...
Goes both ways... you don't really need it if you don't mind splicing it to the other wires.
Like Tony said, might be easier with it. I just went without.
Short story shorter: can be done either way

It's funny, I have almost everything planned out, and ready to go, except for this. I just don't understand what the back of the HU will look like or what the connections are. I wish manufactorers had to do that; photograph the back of the units. Oh well, I think I'll get the harness, and if I think I can do without, I'll do without. Thank you for your replies, gentlemen.
