Default Low pro Sub?

Hi all, can anyone suggest a great 12" sub (prefer 300-600W RMS) with a really low mounting depth? I have only 6" depth in my fiberglass enclosure, 6 3/4" with an MDF riser ring. This is already a problem with the Alpine 10" I am using, but I want to upgrade to 12" and need to find one with a depth of 6" or less to keep a little space between the magnet and the box bottom.

The only decent drivers I have been able to find with that kind of depth are Polk Momo and Audiobahn.

See if you can find a used PPI Pro 12 from like 2000, they recondition them at some speaker shops. They are the flat top (piston subs). I have the same amount of depth and fit two twelves. They are superb at frequency response and almost have a perfectly flat line.

Wow thanks! I saw a piston sub currently being made by Audiobahn, but it is really expensive. I'll look into that. I also found a model by MB Quart that may work (5.5"

I went ahead and got an MB Quart Reference Sub. Will post a pic when it's installed.

Thanks!
