Nice! I will put my comps (either Focal 165 K2P or Zapco CK 16.2, still undecided which one to get) in stock door location and have a shop put tweets in a-pillars. Later on I plan on getting WickedCAS door pods. What do you think how much will shop charge to mount the tweets in the a-pillars?

Depends on how far you want to go with them. Surface mount is cheapest but looks pretty yech in my opinion. Flush-angle is better but the best is fibreglass tweeter pods right up front by the window. Looks great and its the best as far as sound goes as long as its EQ'd properly.

Looks really nice those little pods.

How are you attaching them to the door card. I have been wanting to do a build like these but I don't want to damage the door card at all so its fully removable.

Not worked out the best way to attach them yet without damaging the cards. Most the builds I see just screw them in from behind which obviously won't work

pretty sure hes no attaching them to the card at all, hes bolting them in to the piece of metal in the back to prevent buzzing

Ah I see - good idea. Never thought of doing that. Think I will be making me some of these once it warms up a bit.

Yup, the door's speaker holes are offset so you can actually attach the pod with 3-4 screws or bolts to the metal in behind the door card which makes it super solid.

The bad news is, I haven't touched the car iin a month.
The good news is, I am waaayy too busy working on other people's systems to even touch mine. Its a bittersweet thing.
