It's done (for now)!!!!! I still need to do some trim work and install the new glove box door but other than that it's pretty much done. I may add a cap later and I want to add a fuse block as well.

Here is the only real flaw on the interior. The previous owner spilled some wood glue on the seat a couple of months ago. My wife worked several hours getting the glue off but unfortunately it left a stain that just doesn't want to come out. I am on the lookout for a passenger seat to replace this one eventually.

I hope you are talking about the original install and not the current one.

I should've clarified, but I thought that was obvious, LOL!!!

That's crazy though... anyone who can afford a Z should not have an install that looks like that lmao... Seriously looks like something a 16 year old hooked up.

The new install is very clean man, and that JL stealth box is something I envy :P

Out of curiosity does anybody have overheating issues with the Amp's being mounted in a confined space with no ventilation or cooling fan's?

I've never had an issue. I have two mounted back there as well.

I haven't had any issues either but I haven't installed the glove box door to cover them up yet either.

I have the factory bose cover, so I guess that provides a little bit of ventilation

Ahh ok cool ... I was a Car Audio Fanatic back in the early to mid 90's ... I competed in IASCA here for SQ....The amp's made back then were probably not that great at cooling as the Newer Generation of Amp's especially with the newer technology. I had to run mini cooling fan's when I built enclosed amp rack's.

I am very happy with the way they sound. The bass is great and the mids and highs are loud and clear.

Nice install! Something along the lines of what I will end up doing one of these days.

As far as the seat goes, no need to buy a whole new seat, you can buy the seat cover for the bottom part only and just replace that. Or use it as an excuse to upgrade!!!
