Sorry for the late replies.

mumra: The W6s are tight and clean. Their each in their own chamber, and their also sealed. Result is amazing. Not nearly as much output as when I had two of them slot ported but 10x better sound now.

basam350z: A local shop here in Hawaii did the install. If anyone is in hawaii and needs some stereo, let me know. It's the stock faceplate, just rearranged the pieces to fit everything.

nissan_fanatic: I have not had the chance to copy any DVD movies to the HD yet. I know that you can copy it straight using the Xbox explorer or you can FTP everything over. Then you set the path to the movie and give it a title and everything should show up just like the list of games. PM me and I'll try to get some instructions if you like. It's a project that I've been wanting to do, just havent got around to. Now I have a reason.

Anyone2u: Thanks, I tried to have it look similar to the Clarion HU. The center channel makes a huge difference in sound. It sounds better listening to music than watching a movie. As long as you don't slam Usher, Ying Yang Twins or anything, it should be fine. I'll take a few more pics and post them. I know I have one looking in from the trunk, not from the door though.

Thanks for the reply, but seriously it's not a easy as you make it sound. A moron could copy the games over because they put an executable in the root folder of the game and the dashbord looks for that executable and automattically knows what to name the game, see you do nothing but copy the files to the "games" folder and it automatically names a folder the same name as the game. But I am willing to try anything at this point and I know it can be done, hence the feature in XBMC. Please pm me if you have a link or something or you have something for me to try, I really want this to work as I don't want to carry around my DVD collection in my car, kinda of the point of doing this mod you know. I did it for this, not the games that is just a bonus, I never play my Xbox.

I know what you mean, same reason I did it. The games were just a bonus. I'll let you know what I come up with.

nissan_fanatic: I just threw the xbox in behind the pass seat. Eventually it'll be done. Not for a while though. I'll post pics when it's completed. Still need to redo the dash, start on the doors. As for the DVDs on the xbox. I still haven't got a chance to try it out, but from what I was told, there's a text file that you edit. Put the title of the movie and that's what will display. One of these days I'll have to test it out. Just too busy working 6 days a week. I'll def post if it works.

Nissan350ZTT: Thanks for the link. Too long to read it at the moment, but I'll def check it out!

BTW, I'm sure everyone noticed the pass and driver door are not the same. Is there a reason for it? I was going to get the japan driver side door panel from Nissan and slap that in.

To each their own. If I was worried about my **** getting jacked, I would have bought a POS. I work grave yard shift on a military base. My car gets parked 15ft from my room. I've left my car unlocked, on accident, many times. Nothing yet. Wanna put money on it? lol

I feel the same way stu. Although I don't believe that my system stands out as much as yours, I feel like I have to have an eye on my Z regardless. I have had both highly visible and stealthy systems and guess what. My stealthy system got stolen. The best thing to do is just safeguard the car as a whole.

I do this all the time. PM me for details.

Thumbs up

Just wanted to compliment you on a NICE job...!!

Having gone thru a recent audio install / fiberglass fabrication project... I have MUCH more respect for all the work people put in to their cars to make it look nice.

That's a nice setup!!

p.s. JL rules! Love that sound!

Thanks for all the compliments. I finished everything, redid a few things. I've just been too lazy to take more pics. It's been raining here daily for the past few weeks.
