Same here, I sent an email to the company and didn't hear anything back. I'm interested in the pricing for an unfinished box to hold two JL 8's. I would also like to add two additional 10" rings so the 8's can be flush mounted.

Please let me know how much for this including shipping to Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075.

Thanks,
DD

shagpa and Diver Down, Naz is little slow at checking his messages so you may be better off calling him at 603-382-1801 during the day. I just tried to call him and found out he is at the CES in Vegas, but will be back on Monday.

I have a few questions about Nazar's enclosure. What's the volume (air space) of the enclosure for three 10 W6v2s? How easy is it to get out of the trunk and how well does it stay put? Finally, how much does it weigh with three 10 W6v2s. It is imperative that I can get at the spare in the event of a flat or blowout and I was wondering how feasible it would be to get the box out of the way with just the driver doing the lifting.

Thanks,
Stu

i can tell you the encosure alone would be about 40 pounds, i have the one ten inch version and its a good 30 pounds, so i imagine a 3 10inch enclosure would weigh a little more not counting the weight of the subs. you can lift it, but it wont be something you wanna do too often. to change a spare, sure, shouldnt be a prob. hope that helps

Thanks Horizon1. How does yours stay under the strut? Is is friction fit or what? Any trouble with it coming loose?

Thanks,
Stu

The fit should be a real tight fit, For those who do not have the trunk carpet with Z logo, I would suggest add a piece of carpet inderneath the enclosure... As far as the box coming out of the car. Yes it can be taken out. But I am asuming this would be for emergencies. It is a tight fit so it will take a little bit of Muscle to get it out. 3x10" box should ony be about 5 more pounds. depending on what subs you choose the weight can be overwhelming. Specialy if you go with the W6v2s.

Yes we still make the enclosures.
single 10 and dual 10" are $399.95 + finish (Example Vinyl $100) + Ship.

3x10" $499.95 + Finish (ie, Vinyl $100) + shipping...

We accept credit card and Paypal. No fees with either type. Paypal Preffered.

So what's the internal volume of the enclosure for the 3 10W6V2s?

Anyone have anymore recent feedback? This thread started long ago, so I am sure if there where any bugs they would have been worked out by now.

Anyone getting any faces or is the enclosure still coming without a face? Do you think it is worth th $$? I am planning on using 2
JL 10W3's. Besides the price, is there much difference in sound between 10W3's and 10W6's? Is there much difference between using 1 or 2 subs?

Here is what I went with:

Kenwood Excelon KDC-X869 Head Unit
Kenwood Excelon KDC-CX87 10 Disk CD Changer
Alpine MRVF 540 5 channel Amp
MB Quart PCE 216 Speakers (2 Sets)
JL 10W3 (1)

Again I may change to 2 subs and to 10W6's. But if there isn't a large difference in sound between the 3's and 6's, I will stick with the 3's.

The audio shop loaned me a small box with a JL 10W7 in it until I make my mind up on a box. The only problem is the 7 draws to much current or something and shuts the amp down. So I will get a second amp, most likely I will go with a Alpine MRD-M500. Anyone have any better ideas for an amp for my sub?

Best if you could respond to my email address provided below. I cannot get to this sight from work.

Nazar,

I am very interested in a single 10" inch enclosure. I currently have a 10" Kicker Comp VR installed and I am running about 250 watts to it. I would like drop the Kicker into one of your boxes, unless you feel the JL could outperform the Kicker. I haven't had an opportunity to hear the JLs. I am looking for a finished box shipped to 19702. What colors are available? Please PM with the price. Thanks!

Nazar doesn't check this board every day so you may want to call him at his shop in NH at 603-382-1801. He is usually there most days including Saturdays. Hope that helps.

i know this is old, but i forgot to reply to someone:s question above. the box is a good fit, but it comes loose if you punch it a little upon a green light. what i found that works is stick some velcro on top and on the bottom. havent had much problem since. i think its also cuz i had the carpet in still that causes the slipping. anyways, pretty good now.

free bump for other people interested in this box

I would love to get this box!!! I'm just a little leary of buying a box for a set up that I don't know is compatable. Three 10s will take some air. Two 12s are my choice. Will the box work for those. I have been picking up components for the stereo and have gotten a 1600watt, 4ch boss amp. I want to run the subs in series since the box is not seperated (or is it) . I heard a set up with one ten in it and the sound was more than i wanted to hear. But it was sharp and striking. I like the long softer deep bass of 12s. Is the box bigg enough for two 12s.??????

I dont think that 12s will fit in there and the box is not separated.
