They said they wouldn't do it if they didnt think they could do it pefectly. They also said they would warranty their work. I'm thinking about making them throw in the sewing of the shift boot in the deal.

oh well then you can't go wrong Brutha...I would do it, because it's the door...anything could happen......a really hot summer day could come along, and if they used crappy glue the damn thing could fall off (not going to happen, but you know what I mean.)

yeah I feel like they would be worth the difference. Did you wrap your own panels? If so did you need to cut the suede into more than one piece to make it wrap?

yeah, but I don't cut it into more than one piece...I just slice it where it needs to be sliced, and then I have to stitch it with a sewing machine...the doors are difficult with the pods on it.

didn't do it yet, but from the looks of things when I layed it out...it looks like I would have to slice it right where the AC vent goes, and somewhere around the pod...depending on where I start to lay the fabric only two places...but I might not even do it myself...because i'm not too skilled with a sewing machine...not like the old guy up the block...I might have him do it for me.

9 speakers may not be enough man. I think you'll have a hard time hearing the music with that few speakers

I dont know how famaliar you are with phase when it comes to audio. If so flip 4 of 9 speakers out of phase and crank it and see if you can get someone's head to explode!

wish I was... It is so hard to cover....I have to rip all the leather off and do it again...this guy was doing it for me, and I think I might have tonester do the door in Carbon fiber....not sure though...I'll give the leather thing one more try...because it really looks nice, but just a bit f'ed up because of the dificult curves.

If you are using leather to cover complex curves I was told by an installer you need to apply steam to the leather to get it to conform to the shape you are covering. You should apply the steam as you are stretching the material over the form.
