Thanks!

These polks should work out fine using our spacer with the 5.00" mounting hole. Since they are less than 2 inches deep you won't have any issues with the window hitting the magnet.

thanks mike

I have read that is you can squeze up to 2 7/8" without spacer. Can you confirm on that or max its 2" before its hits the window. Thanks in advance.

2 7/8" without a spacer won't work.......In my Z I mounted my speakers with the spacers using speakers a little over 2.50" deep and they still rubbed the window. I ended up shimming the front of the spacer to get clear of the window.

If you're using speakers 2.00" deep you will be fine when using the spacers. Its when you use speakers 2.50" deep or more when you starting having issues.

thanks mike

Thank you for your responce as i am trying to figure out all the components I will need to install some speakers. Basiclly, any speaker with depth bigger than 2.5" depth will require little bit over 1" thick spacer!

That's OK. I am sure they'll be top quality. I am just starting to gather items for my stereo upgrade. I have the Clarion DXZ785USB HU and want some good front speakers to pair with it.

I have some alpine type r 6.5 speakers. Will they work with your spacers? Will I have to modify my door panels?

I've never tried these speakers with the spacer but I would guess they would work without having to modify the panels.

Anyone tried this setup? If so, how did it work out?

Thanks Mike

That's my main concern since pods are $179 unfinished.
I would also like to have good door panels for when I sell the car, eventually.

Just let us know the make and model of the speakers you're using and we can determine which spacers you'll need.
These spacers only work for the front doors of the 350z......Thanks Mike

Could you tell me which size spacer I'd need for a set of Rockford Fosgate prime R1652-S? I'd like to order these ASAP. Thanks!
