-Pac iSimple charge/audio dock(this is needed to charge the ipad/iphone while taking the audio output to an EQ, processor, or amplifier)
-Includes the 3 silver gauge rings around the gauges

People have been asking me what else they will need for this to be a complete sound system. It is actually very easy, I have made a quick drawing on the layout(you can choose any amplifier, I just used this one because it is small & compact to fit behind the dash.)

If I had an iPad, I'd be all over this. I remember stumbling across your video on youtube showing it off, I've wanted an iPad dash ever since.

You're work looks GREAT man, very intrested in seeing the iPad mini dash.

 

If it wasn't cracked it would have been sold already.

Does ot fit if the ipad has otterbox cover?

 

Laurentj- I think the otter box is too large(that's the thick waterproof one) I just used a slim clear case.
. Crack is relatively minor considering the buyer will probably want to paint it to their color(also remember- you need to sand/paint shifter surround to match)

where do you put the head unit when using this?

 

You will need some type of amplifier to run the speakers. (This replaces your head unit )

 

how well does this type set up work with haveing no head unit? ive been contimplateing doing something like this just dont know how well the sound quaility and output is with no headunit. and what pac adapter is that? there web site is very vauge on what some of there products are.

good job on the design man id buy but then id have to get an ipad as well and the wife would kill me. lol
