Today I got a package from Nissan. Inside is a Genuine Accessories brochure AND a really beautiful book
"Lust, Then Love" The story of the new Z.
For those of you that have not ordered yet, I scanned the accessories for you. And yes, Rays wheels are an option.
Whoo hooo!!!!!!

Thanks for doing that.
While I'm hopefull about the wheels being an option I have my doubts also. That book has been distributed all over the world so it's possible that some, none or all of those accessories will actually be available here. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

The brochure is separate to the book. On the back, towards the bottom, its printed "January 2003" with a list of part numbers.
So all options will be available.

That's good news
It does raise the question of why we have to buy the optional wheels on the track when they're standard in every other market though. Maybe there's hope yet.

I received the book/brochure last Thursday. There was nothing in the brochure to suggest it was specific to the Australian market and my belief is that it, like the book, are just part of an American pack which was bundled to us. Maybe I'm wrong... we'll see

"Nissan Genuine Accessories have been designed and tested to comply with Australian design rules" That to me says this stuff is ready for our maket.
The little * says these alloys available as upgrades.
Sorry about making you guys squint to read, but this forum won't allow bigger pics.

don't be surprised if your dealer has no idea on accessories.
I asked mine as soon as I got the brochure about pricing, only to be told they haven't even got this list yet .
Make me feel kinda special
Thanx Nissan

I won't be surprised but at least I can show him this and have him follow it up. I really want forged wheels and these should be a cheaper option than having to go aftermarket.

A decent set of 19's and I'm not talking those cheap *** chromies would set you back about 5 1/2 - 6 1/2 k with tyres. My 18's cost me $900 rim.
If I were to opt for the 18's forged I would ask them not to put 45's but 40's if they allowed it. I think the profile is way too much for a sports car..

It'll be depending on price of course. They may want too much for them if they're an option. If that's the case I may as well go for a set of 19". Those TE37s do look good.
Still, we might be lucky yet and get them as standard on the Track.
