Tyre black
Hi guys. Can anyone advise if it is ok to use the tyre blackening agents on our tyres? The type I have in mind is the spray cans that spray a foaming agent onto the tyres, leave for 10-15 minutes and Bob's your uncle - perfectly clean and shinny black tyres. I am concerned that I may have read somewhere that the foam can affect the protection coat on the wheels. Is this true????
If you haven't already bought the can type pickup one of the Meguiars ones. Bit more work but better results long term IMO.
Not sure on the spray type cans but if they were at all acidic they could effect the paint finish of the wheels. Probably unlikely though.

Definitely use the Meguiars stuff. They make something that smells like grape and it lasts a very long time. Great stuff! Meguiars also has a really good website that recommends which products to use for your specific conditions.
