Hi all,

Sometime ago Apsilon posted a get together notice for Sunday July 6th at Croydon Racing Development in 9 Blaxland St Silverwater (off Silverwater Rd) . This day has been dubbed Dyno Day.

I'm keen on catching up, but won't be doing the dyno thing.

Apsilon - you posted a 9:00am start, bit early for me, but would like to hook up a little later either there or somewhere else.

What are the numbers? Who is keen to meet? Who wants to have beer?

 

I will go on Sun as I have never witnessed a dyno in operation before. I have no interest in dynoing my car as I will not be modifying the engine in the near future. However, Apps indicated he may dyno his car. So if he does, I will be interested in the rwkW numbers and it will give us all an idea of what our cars produce. I'm guessing we should see 150-160kW at the rears.

 

I'd like to be there... but 9 am is way to early for me!

I'd be able to do 11am or any time thereafter.

I'll also bring the g-tech so that any of you guys can try to do 0-100 and rwhp comparisson to the dyno.

 

Yep, I'll be there from 9 onwards. I'm planning on dynoing to get a baseline. Not sure what time my run will be.

If you're planning on coming and haven't already done so please let Greg know via email omg@iprimus.com.au even if you're not going to run so they have an idea of numbers for food. A BBQ will be put on there, $1ea for sausage sandwiches and drinks.

Please note this isn't being organised by me but rather the Nissan Sports Car Club. It'll be an all Nissan day but primarily 200SXs so it should be interesting to compare numbers. I'm hoping there'll be at least one stock S15 I can compare to.

 

sorry guys - I'm headed for MacKay for 2 and a half wonderful weeks in the sun on saturday so my Z will just have to sit in the garage...

2 and a half weeks in the garage is too long for the Z to remain idle. I know some peolpe that will gladdly "maintain" it it for you during that time.

Hello Guys, please disregard my previous message.

I will be able to come out and catch up. My wife is going to go into town and do some things with her parents and my boy so I'll quickly sneak out to Silverwater. I wont be able to stay too long though, as I have to go back into town and do some stuff.

I will try and get there as early as I can. I'll try and get away from Newcatsle about 9 so i'll get there around 11 or so. I will probably also bring a mate of mine along for the ride.

Matt I will pm you my mobile number so if anything changes would you be kind enough to give me a call.

It will be good to catch up and put faces to names.

Sorry to hear that.

We should start talking about the next meet/drive now seeing how long it took us to meet the first time.

 

I've got a lunch to go to on Sunday so i'll make it from 9am to 11am.

I always prefer coming at lunch to a bbq but the "boss" wouldn't have it any other way.

Ended up working today so didn't get a chance to look into the custom Ti exhaust either, Did have a quick early morning run back along the Old Pacific though. Just hope that Magna wasn't a cop.
