Hi all, saw a black RX8 on the road today.

It looked okay, but it's just lacking something cosmetically. Unsure what that is at this point.

A guy at work will be getting his soon. I'd like to take a closer look when he gets it.

 

You do realise he'll want to prove the rx8 is faster than the 350z....lol

 

Saw another one on Sunday at the Spit Bridge carpark.

This one was red and it looked sort of okay.

My girlfriend liked it. Maybe it was the red colour.

Zuffy, the red made it look kinda fast.

 

rx8 needs major mods to compete with the 350z on all fronts. But yeh once they are modded they are a great car... Apparently they can get 240kw from that rotary (well thats what some rotary specialist reckons, something about a change of rotors blah blah blah).

Btw the more i read about the ATI procharger the more impressed i am. Guys are getting 370rwhp untuned. All that for well under 10 grand.

The procharger has about 3 threads on this forum, a web site and a number of threads on the other 350z forums.

They have dynos charts posted of the new installs and pics...haven't you been following? It's pretty exciting stuff.

The initial price was 4300 USD with FMC. That was for the crash test dummies .

I've seen it on sale for 4600USD without a group buy so it is going to stay at that price imho.
That inclueds Sc, pipes, FMC, fuel pump, intercooler and everything to make it fit.
