I was at JCW this morning. Nice guys and good prices but I didn't see anything that cheap. Then again I wasn't looking at price, just trying on as many as I could. I was planning on having a look at some of the Parra stores on Sun if I get a chance.

I don't mean any offence by it but the Americans are overly cautious when it comes to what people can write in on line forums. I've always thought it strange given their free speech stance etc. Then again from what I can gather it's a very litigous (sp?) environment and therfore better safe than sorry. Just an observation as an outsider.

 

So, now that we have all that out of the way.

I'm open to Eastern Creek but not the 28th. I shouldn't be going to Wakefield on the 27th either as I have work comitments that I'd forgotten about but I'm going to go anyway.

Pick a day in Sept for the Creek and I'll be there.

I've had a lot happen over the past couple of days so I have no idea where I stand ATM. I'm still hoping to make the 27th but I won't know for sure until mid next week at best.

I am going to be away for the next week and a bit. I will be back on the 25th, so I can make it to Wakefield on the 27th if that is going to be our first track day.

I will not have internet acces while away, so if you all continue to post here what is being organised for the track day, I will check when back and head to Wakefield with those that are interested.

Like I said earlier I wont be able to make WP, just too far to go, drive around all day then drive home. That is unless I wake up Wednesday morning and change my mind?

Sydney rain, Canberra fine, cloudy at times. Who knows, few days off yet.

 

I hope the weather holds out for those who are going to this track meet I won't be able to make it due to work.

I wouldn't mind hooking up again with everyone some weekend soon. More people this time.

Ha! Cant say I've ever seen a blue Ferrari or Lambo or any other fast car come to think of it. Hang on Ford did make the GT Falcons in True Blue (which is very similar to the Z blue)

Soccer is now finished, got beaten yesterday in the preliminary final. Oh well, always next season!

So I may be able to make a Saturday meet, Sundays are still out though.

Hi guys

I'm back and I'm also keen to go to wakefield on Wed (weather permitting). Will have to monitor the weather report on Tues night and if predicting rain for Wed, then I would rather wait for a dry day.
Looking at the responses so far, if Apps is in, then that is 4 of us.
I live near the M5 entrance at Riverwood and would head to Goulburn directly from there. As we will all be heading to WP from different direction in Syd, why don't we all meet at a peterol stop on the Hume, suggest first one after Campeltown. I cannot remember if it is a Shell / Caltex or other, so I someone knows, please clarify. Alternatively, we could all take the Campbeltown exit and meet at the first fuel stop there. Any other suggestions????

I don't drive down there all that often so I can't think of exactly where that service station is. How long would it take to get there from the crossroads?

BTW had some pinging when i redlined today, what a friggen scary noise that is. Engines aren't meant to sound like they have marbles inside them... I have to keep a sense of humour about it....can't imagine why my car would be lean...and i'm running 98 oct fuel.

What time are we planning on being at the track? 9.30? 10?

Zuffy you may have got some off fuel, might want to pick up some octane booster just to be safe.
