Cruise control did you know?
Driving home from the bike club a few mins ago, and I set the
cruise because of the double demerits sh*t, and part of the
drive is a long downhill. Normally pick up about 20k.
Had this funny feeling - bit like a flat or something dragging
me back. Most unexpected.
It was the bloody brakes! ! ! The damn thing applies the
anchors to maintain the selected speed! ! !
Also, since it's raining, I took the opportunity to give it a bit
both with and without the flight control - christ! this thing
is a prodigious performer on the twistys - I gave up before
the car - seems the harder you push, the better it handles.
And with the pilot off - huge sideways with power control
an absolute dream! Fantastic!
Frosty (phew!)

I use the CC quite a bit and never notice it applying the brakes. What I do notice is the depending on the gear your in it will use the engines/gearing to slow down the car.
BTW mine is a manual. Maybe auto's are different

Yeh CC will let you run away with a few kms/h and reel you in with the brakes.
I think it is smart enopugh to wait and see if the engine revs will do the braking and interveen if they don't.
CC is a much when we have these double demerit weekends.
