Default 350Z Track - bought today

OK guys, I'm one of you now as today I bought a silver (with black interior) 350Z Track. I should have it in the garage next week.

Now I need:
- the hitech exhaust
- lighweight seats
- extra set of rims with R spec rubber.

If someone can point to where to shop/look for the aftermarket seats, then I'd appreciate it. Oh, I'm in Melbourne.

ps. Thanks to everyone here who helped me make this decision and thanks for meeting me and taking me for a ride.

You bought the best colour Dave, don't listen to any of those DB or Red owners whisper otherwise, they moved to the dark side and will burn in the fires of hell for their purchasing sins...

David, Ive replied to your PM. Sorry you couldnt get a decent colour, was the wait too long for a "Burning Red" Z?

Congrats mate, you've got your self a great car! Dont beleive half the ***** you read in the yanky forums. I'm sure half of them dont even know how to drive.

Richie (Z350 lover) has some Recaro's in so he could help you with the seats. Not sure ther're light weight though. You may be better importing them yourself, try japanparts.com.

As always

hehe, they are all nice colors, but the silver with black and orange calipers is what appeals to me the most. Also it should be easy to keep clean :-) Oh, and did I mention that my S2000 was silver too (but it had red seats) :-)

Richie (Z350 lover, I think) has some Recaro's in so he could help you with the seats. Not sure ther're light weight though. You may be better importing them yourself, try japanparts.com.

Cool, any help will be appreciated. Also I'll check out the website. though, meanwhile, if anyone could tell my how much exaclty the 350Z Track seats really weight then that would give me a very good baseline. I have a feeling that the left and right seat will have a different weight.

Default ANOTHER silver?

Why doesn't everyone wake up to the proper DESIGNED colour for the Z - "the run", the seats sunset, (even the black have sunset detailing), the Brembos - all colour co-ordinated for

LeMans SUNSET

Feel very sorry for poor fuggers stuck with silverfrost, redlead undercoat, and biro bloo - wassamatter with yers all!

ANONYMOUSE !

Dear Homophobiak, I read somewhere they only used that colour in "the run" because it was the pre production undercoat colour and it was all that was available at the time. Go figure!

One things for sure Tepid, you're a silly fugger!

Congrats David... you have got the best colour which makes the car looks clean all the time! So that will actually reduce the amount of water you use to wash you car = save more money later on...

Anyway... I think Harry got Me and David mixed up already.... the only thing we have in common right now is having a Z with nismo kits on.... but the one that has recaro seats installed is David (ZZZ-35), not me!

It will be nice to see what you will do to the car!!!

cheers,

richie

Good choice David, the car not the colour but no offence guys silver is way to common. By the way David that night I took you for a burn I discovered I had the aircon turned on so we were probally missing out on another 5rwkw plus don't forget the DB ones are the fastest.

Congrats on the choice you won't regret it.

If you need info on the Recaro's PM me.

David

Well done with the purchase David. Good colour choise too - silver is the lightest colour, revealing a power to weight ratio of 7.0499999kg/kW. compared to the DB, OB, BR LS etc Z's with their inadequate 7.05kg/kW.

That's very good to hear as I'm aiming for 6.5kg/kW .... every gram can help :-)
