Default Sydney 350z Christmas meet

Well I know we've been all busy with work and **** but we should try and get together for a Christmas meet.

Maybe even a lunch at a nice location. Then a nice drive for those who are keen.

Royal National Park would be fun as a drive this time of year. The beaches are nice for the "view"... any other suggestions

DD SUCKS!!! Hey, we had this discussion about points before and I've been thinkin' ..... if you get down to one remaining point and get booked for speeding you're gonna lose your licence right? So if you're gonna go 3 km's over the speed limit (in Victoria) you might as well be doin' 250. Might be a good time to find the top speed limiter. Hmmm..... just a thought.

Anyway Zuff, a friend of mine was askin' me just 2 days ago if i wanted to get up to NSW for Chrissy. Not likely but will keep checkin' the post to see what you guys are up to.

Hi guys, I've been away for a while.

I'm keen, but the only dates I have spare is weekend 20th/21st Dec.

I don't mind where, as long as we get a decent number this time. Our previous meets have been 3 or 4, which is okay, but we can do better I'm sure.

If we do a week end we should get out early to allow people to at least meet everyone and still go and do shopping with the "boss" or something like that.

I'm ok with the 20th dec and i'm cool with week days too if you guys are on holidays by now. Aps and I run our own business so we prefer weekdays. I just figure that most are 9-5 so i'm happy to accomodate.

What about this for an idea?

Meet early at Manly for coffee and chit chat, people can then look at the rides, a couple photos and then for those that are keen a run to Palm Beach before we scatter like flies.

Only issue is parking at both locations :-/!

Anyway, the more ideas the better.

I'm OK for the 20th during the day at this stage although I can see a big job coming that'd have to take priority.

Keep in mind school holidays will have just started then so everywhere is going to be fairly crowded. Combine that with the last minute Xmas rush and the further away from large shopping areas we meet the better IMO. Perhaps a park or something?

Sounds like Royal National Park is the go for a good drive setdown on the cliffs on the other end.

It's always nice there.

BUMP

As aps said, maybe meet at a park and go for coffee/beer and then those keen to go for a ride can do so.

I get the feeling everyone is pretty rushed for Christmas so a morning meeting would be best. Everyone will still have the arvo free to get on with life.

Maybe meeting at Bondi Beach early? At least there is a nice view to be had. What do you reckon?

Sorry guys, the list of electricals not working is getting bigger and not being able to lock the car makes it hard to take out!!!

Nissan response: busy until after new year!

At this rate I will be posting one of those emails about the new car I bought!

Ok...well Bondi Beach has heaps of parking early in the morning. Then it gets filled with topless chicks and foreigners ....lol

As you go down Bondi rd, when you decend down the hill there is parking on the other side of the road that even locals don't use. You just need to double back via the big roundabout.

Nismor33, we can get parking in front of the restaurant if we are early. I'd say you will be pretty safe as long as we don't go walkabout. Maybe bring a club lock just for Saturday?

And yes, I intend of having breakfast there.

Guys just remember to take a look on your right as you go down the hill on Bondi rd... Parking will be a plenty there.

I'll be munching on bacon and eggs by 9:30 regardless.

I'm sorry guys, I simply forgot. I had a friend turn up on my doorstep yesterday afternoon unannounced from Melbourne so I've been a little distracted.

How was it? Hope you all had a great time.
