Hi-tech exhaust fitted
Had the Hi-tech exhaust I bought from Richie fitted today. Big smiles when I started her up - nice low-pitched burbling sound compared with stock system. Great noise in the higher RPM range which makes double declutching on downshifts and heel-toeing even more enjoyable. Power difference is most noticeable in the higher rev range - with the stck system, above approx 5300 RPM the engine seemed to be all noise and no go, but now it seems to pull right up to the cut-out. I don't intend to get it dynoed.
Cheers Richie - it's as impressive as youy said it would be.
Richie, AYK my brother-in-law picked up the exhaust from your place. Well fortunately, my wife brought it home on Monday night with the trailer because my B-I-L was burgled the following afternoon - shed cleaned out and lots of small but valuable/sentimental stuff taken from in the house. The only saving grace for the thieves, I suppose, is that they didn't take my neices' X-mas presents and didn't vandalise the house too much. My wife's gone back down to help them tidy up.

No worries Neil!!!
Really sad to hear the bad news about your B-I-L man! but luckily you have got the exhaust on the car and you LOVE It.... I love the hi-tech still as they are not loud... well.... not as loud as the nismo one which I reckon it is a bit noisy.... but still can stand the level of the noise!
I am really impressed with Lambros's job on getting the exhaust fixed to the standards that it should be... I think you should take some photos to show other guys the actual polish and the welding works that Hi-Tech has done! Really impressive!!! All the inner pipe edges have been cleaned up nicely and there is no sharpe edges outside that will hurt you!!! And it feels a bit lighter than the original hi-tech exhaust as well!!!
cheers mate and happy Zeding!

glad you like it. now is only mine that the hi-tech exhaust still sitting on it's angle. Went to DR. Auto spoken to Tudor and he said it need to adjust, which seem very odd to me. Lambros said everything is identical with All the batch that shipped to Richie, sundog and david.
He said the possiblility is with my car which the hook has been bent, which i think it's impossible and if it's bent. I should have notice it from stock exhaust already. But Thanks to Tudor who are willing to fix it between X'mas and new year. But we'll see the result then.

Good to hear that Yun!!! Enjoy the Hi-Tech power now!

Yeah, Tudor's a good ol' boy. He told me that he prefers to work on enthusiasts cars because they appreciate the effort and know what they want rather than the 'boom & base' VL/VP Conformadore show ponys.
Like I said in my last post on another thread I think, Tudor is now the Melbourne distributor for Hi-Tech and Lambros' gear would be better ordered through him.
