Default windows, central locking, seat issues

Just thought I would give you all an update from my recent fun. As some of you may have read, I have been having issues were I intermittantly lose the power to windows, central locking and my seats. Well now it seems to be permenant......

Nissan had the car Thursday and Friday of last week and decided that it was the body control module. Despite the diagnostic tests completed that showed everything to be fine they strongly believed this was the issue and spent today replacing the BCM.

Well I have the car back and still no fix! They have now indicated they have no idea as to the problem, how to fix or what the next steps are.

Anyone want a Z????

same as my driver window rattling noise..... I went in there and took half of my day off waiting for it to be done with my 10K km service, but they told me that they were not able to get the rattling noise fixed somehow... it just keeps on coming up even they took EVERYTHING apart! but they fixed the window grease problem at least... probably next time when my window falls off the car, they will know how to fix it!

cheers,

richie

Pah got the rattle too.......

I sent a fax to Nissan today so I will be sure to let you know the fun. I have raised the issues that we have all discussed. Will post the fax number in the morning, I suggest anyone with any issue should fax them. They wont understand otherwise.

Next step? They give you a new car. They've admitted they're unable to fix the problem. How do you know other systems aren't going to start playing up? Everything is electronic on this car.

The only thing I can suggest at this stage that you're not already doing is document everything from the dealer and also have them supply what they've done and what their next step is in writing.

Well waiting to see what they come back with.

Nissan has everything in writing now but I can see that it will end up back and forth in the shop for sometime.

Oh to have my Skyline back.......
